Understanding the business environment

I suppose this topic isn’t one to come in direct contact with digital marketing and so I’m not sure this is the correct space to write about it. But at the same time, the business environment is something that everyone comes into contact with, whether you are self-employed or not.

That is why I am enjoying the diploma framework so much because it allows me to not only study the immediate subject in hand, but also the surrounding subjects and issues that are going to have an impact on me later in life and not just right now as an apprentice.
All of this helps me to become more aware of my place in the business environment but also my rights and responsibilities in the workplace.

As my college tutor has been away this week and it is half term next week, I have been using my workplace time wisely to balance both work stuff and college stuff.
Completing unit 207 this week has made me aware of so many new things in the business environment. Researching employment patterns both in the UK and globally has made me so aware of so many different issues that the economy is having. I have then applied these to myself and considered how these problems could have an impact on me.

All the while still managing social media accounts, answering the phone and editing photos for promotional uses. Being busy all of the time means that the work day flies by and I almost have to remember to actually go home!

I am already 2 units ahead of everyone else in my class at GBMet College and so I feel that I can relax a little bit and take my well deserved lunch hours to chill out for a bit and make plans for the weekends!

Overall it has been a busy week which is why I have been unable to update this blog as much as I would have like to.
