3 Top Tips for your Christmas Marketing



Christmas is really not long away now, at the time of writing it’s 27 days away - not that I’m counting or anything!

Not only is Christmas a magical time of year for giving and receiving presents, it is also a really busy time of year for marketers who are frantically trying to churn out festive content.

I thought I would help out a little today by sharing 3 top tips for creating Christmas content for your business.


1 - be lighthearted… It is Christmas after all! All consumers want is a little fun content to spread some Christmas cheer on their feeds.

2 - no sell, sell, sell… Linking closely with number one, don’t be too serious with your marketing. Maybe don’t send out a marketing message at all. Instead, just be active on your social media channels to remind consumers of your presence. Share funny photos or make hilarious comments on others’ content to make someone smile and remind them of your social media presence.

3 - be original… Probably one of the most clique pieces of advice I know, but it's honestly one of the best. No one likes to see the same old thing, it won’t catch their eye and they’ll often scroll straight past it if they think they’ve seen it before. Think outside the box a little. Maybe a play on words or an eye-catching image could spice up your consumer's timeline this Christmas.
