3 Reasons Why Canva Premium Is Worth Every Penny
Going from the free version of Canva to the Premium version is probably the best professional decision I have made in my career so far. Okay, maybe that sounds a little dramatic. But Canva Premium is definitely up there with one of the best applications I use in the office to create stunning visual content.
I thought I’d share my top three reasons why Canva Premium is worth every penny because I know that paying for an application is a big investment and may need some convincing to do.
So here’s my top three reasons why Canva Premium is worth every penny:
- There’s image folders!
An extra that I didn’t think would be as useful as it is. Canva Premium allows users to put logos in a separate folder to their uploads. Logos are a type of image that I always need to access within Canva as they are aspects I am always adding to the designs I create. Having them all in one folder is incredibly useful and saves a lot of scrolling through all the photos I have uploaded to Canva to find them.
- Access to even more photos, elements and fonts!
The free version of Canva already had some really useful elements, good free photos and of course standard fonts. This add-on is something that you don’t know the full extent to until you pay for the full version. As soon as I used Canva Premium for the first time I was seeing fonts I’d never seen before and had exclusive access to some really top-quality stock photos. One of the premium fonts is the same as a client’s branding and so having this available means my Canva creations can be even more corporate to my client’s brand.
- GIFs and video!
A feature I didn’t know Canva offered until very recently; even after using Canva Premium for almost three months. Most people know the engagement value of a GIF, but what about the ability to make your usual static image a video?! Yep, Canva allows it’s Premium users to download their creation as either a GIF or an MP4 video which gives the opportunity for even more engaging content to be created. In fact, the first time I used this feature was for a boosted post on a client’s Facebook page, the movement of the images really gave my creation a professional feel and definitely increased engagement.
So there we have it, my top three reasons why Canva Premium is worth every penny.
