New Found Love: Think with Google

As a digital marketing apprentice, I have a couple of social media channels that like to run as a way of improving my professional digital presence. Therefore; a lot of my time is spent finding statistics relating to digital marketing for social media content, or research purposes for college. This constant search means I’m always on the lookout for useful websites and sources for the information that I can keep coming back to.

Google is obviously a massive source of statistics, the large scale that it’s on makes it a valuable asset to buddy researchers and the curious alike. Google receives over 1 trillion search queries a year which makes it very representative of most internet users. In fact, just over a quarter of all internet users use Google search.

Think with Google is a website with the latest marketing research and digital trends from Google with data reports, insights, and articles, all in one place.

You can also sign up for their mailing list which makes me sound like a proper stats nerd, but maybe I am - I just love looking at insights and learning about how Google is being used by consumers. Consumer behavior is actually in my best interest as a marketer.

It was recently Google’s 20th anniversary and to celebrate there was an article written about how internet searching has changed and become a lot more natural over the 20 years of Google’s life. Users now looking to Google as their personal assistant rather than a search engine.

Think with Google is something that I have only recently discovered and still looking into. I just love the look it has - very corporate to Google’s simple image whilst still delivering up to date, interesting stats worth knowing about.
I guess there’s something appealing about getting information from such a trusted enterprise that has in fact been around for 20 years now.
